E-Waste Recycling Event: Sat, Apr 17, 2021

When:

Since the New Jersey Electronic Waste Management Act was passed in 2007, it has been illegal in the State of New Jersey to dispose of televisions, computers, and all computer components as waste. Garwood has partnered with GreenChip E-Waste and ITAD Solutions to offer Electronic Waste Disposal at no charge to the residents.

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., Garwood residents can bring their e-waste to the Borough’s Department of Public Works yard (dead end of Willow Avenue, East, across from the Knights of Columbus parking lot). Other types of waste will not be accepted, and, if residents are unsure about your e-waste, contact GreenChip at lee@greenchiprecycling.com for more information.
