Kathleen Annarelli is currently serving her first term as a Garwood
Borough Councilwoman. Kathleen’s full-time role is working as a policy
researcher at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency. Before joining the Agency, she completed her Doctor of Philosophy
(Ph.D.) degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. She also holds a
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Drew
University.
Although
born and raised in Florida, Kathleen is a proud New Jerseyan. In early 2024,
Kathleen and her husband, Rich, purchased their first home in Garwood, where
they live with their two tuxedo cats, Jaggy and Winnie. Kathleen is an active
member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranford, where she serves as a leader of
the Senior Youth Group.
