Councilwoman Stephanie Bianco joined the Borough Council on
December 4, 2025, to fill a vacant seat. She currently serves as Chair of the
Community Development Committee. In addition, she serves as the liaison to the
Planning Board—an excellent fit given her previous service as a Planning Board
member from 2019 to 2025. She is also the liaison to the Small Business
Association of Garwood, where she works to connect local business owners with
municipal government. Councilwoman Bianco previously served an interim term on
the Borough Council in 2018.
A resident of Garwood since 2014, Councilwoman Bianco is
self-employed as a certified residential real estate appraiser and licensed
real estate agent. After graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University, she
worked in the accounting office at Fedway Associates. With a long-standing
passion for business and entrepreneurship, she later owned and operated a
successful trucking company, which she sold in 1999.
