Garwood Parks
The Garwood Department of Parks and Recreation maintains the Borough's parks, maintaining the Borough's natural areas' ecological diversity and providing recreational opportunities for Borough's residents.
Hartman Park
Hartman Park is located on the north side of Garwood on the 400 block of Second Avenue. The park has picnic tables, swings, play equipment, a water fountain, and a large basketball court.

Georgiana Memorial Park
On the north side of Garwood at the corner of Walnut Street and Fourth Avenue, Georgiana Memorial Park is a tribute to the late Mayor Georgiana Gurrieri. The park features a gazebo and benches to sit.

Unami Park
Unami Park, located on the south side of town off Hickory Avenue, is a owned by Union County and includes the following amenities: playground, soccer field, baseball field, softball field, tennis court, picnic area and restrooms. To reserve this park for a function of your own call the Union County Office of Public Information at 908-527-4744.

Garwood Sports and Recreation Complex
The Garwood Sports and Recreation Complex is located at 140 Myrtle Ave, Garwood, NJ and features the following amenities: field house building (featuring a concession stand, deck, bathrooms and meeting room), a multi-purpose playing field, basketball court, playground, bocce ball court and walking track. The meeting room fits five round tables comfortably with approximately 65 people in the building.
